Practical information

Answers to the questions we are asked most often before a stay.

What are the check-in and check-out days and times?

The chalet is rented by the week, Saturday to Saturday. Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am (with the cleaning option). If you do the cleaning yourselves, check-out is by 12 noon.

How do I book?

Call or email us to check the dates. The booking is confirmed by paying a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the rental price. The balance is paid on arrival, by bank transfer or cheque.

What if I cancel?

If you cancel, you lose the 30% deposit and owe nothing more.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes, a security deposit of €700 is requested on arrival. It is returned after the check-out inspection.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

No, bed linen and towels are not provided. Please bring sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels. Revard Sport in the resort also rents out bed linen.

Is cleaning included?

End-of-stay cleaning is available as an option for €100. Even with cleaning included, please leave the chalet in a reasonable state (dishes put away, tables wiped, furniture back in place…).

Is heating included?

Yes, heating and firewood for the stove are included in the rental price.

Where can I park?

There is a dedicated parking space right in front of the chalet. In winter the road is regularly cleared.

Can I charge an electric car?

Yes, a reinforced 16 A socket (3 kW) has been installed. Bring your own charging cable (standard domestic plug with earth). In winter you will need a 10-metre extension lead as well, or a good snow-clearing session. A dedicated meter is read at check-in and check-out, and charging costs €0.30/kWh, payable in cash when you leave.

Do I need snow equipment?

Yes, in winter: winter tyres or snow chains. They are compulsory (and very useful!) from 1 November to 31 March in the mountain areas of Savoie (French mountain law).

Is there wifi?

Yes, the chalet has wifi, a TV and a DVD player. Plenty of books and DVDs are available for long winter evenings.

Travelling with a baby?

A travel cot and a high chair are available on request.

Are pets allowed?

Because of allergies and past experiences, pets are not allowed.

Is the chalet suitable for people with reduced mobility?

No, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. There are about ten steps up to the front door, and two of the three bedrooms are one floor higher, reached by a very steep pull-down staircase.

When can I ski?

The downhill ski area closes at the end of March. By the Easter holidays the snow is usually melting and skiing is no longer possible. Check the resort webcams before you go.

Is there a tourist tax?

Yes, the tourist tax is added to the rental price, at the current local rate (€1.25 per adult per day in 2026).
